Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Don’t let your mind sabotage the fulfillment of your dream. Feed your mind the outcome you want to see.
If you feed your mind your fears, it is your fears that will manifest. But if you learn to feed your mind your faith, that is the outcome that you will see. There is no better example of this than Job. After Job lost everything that he possessed and sores filled his body, he confessed that the thing which he greatly feared had me come upon him. What Job was saying was that the calamity that he was experiencing was something that he had feared would happen for years. For a season things were going great as he had much abundance but amidst his great wealth there was a lingering fear that someday he could lose everything. He fed his mind his fear and that was what came forth.
Joseph did the opposite of what Job did. He had a dream in Genesis 37 that someday he would be in rulership and although it seemed improbable at times, he kept feeding his mind that outcome. His dream became his belief; as a result, he kept finding himself in positions of leadership. Firstly, he was overseer in Potiphar’s house, then he was head over all the prisoners; and then he was asked by Pharaoh to be governor over Egypt. It was no surprise to Joseph that he was asked to be a ruler, because that was the belief he kept feeding his mind.
Your outer reality ultimately aligns to what you are feeding your mind. If you do not deliberately feed it your faith, your fears will dominate your thinking and become your reality. You must therefore make a conscious decision to feed your mind daily whatever dream or promise God has declared concerning you.
Life Application: Thank God for the outcome that was promised, 2 to 3 times daily until it manifests.
Prayer: Lord, I walk by faith and not in fear. I speak life over myself and not death. I declare that I’m well. I declare that I am blessed. I declare that I am healed. I reject all seeds of doubt that are planted concerning my life and your plans for me. In Jesus name, amen.
