Colossians 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven

It is only through intimacy with the Father that you can experience the fullness of things that God has in store and promised on earth and in heaven. Therefore, get close to the Father.

When God made man it was His intent that we experience the fullness of all things that he had in store for us on earth and in heaven. The fullness that He created for us included: being holy as He is holy; ruling over our circumstances; living forever; being free from sickness or pain; enjoying a blessed life with no curses; daily living in His presence; and, frequent conversations with Him as evidenced in Genesis 3:8 when he came down in the cool of the day to have conversation with Adam and Eve.  Man lost access to this fullness when Adam and Eve sinned, but it was later restored through the person of Jesus Christ and now as Colossians 1:19 says in Him all fullness dwell. Consequently, to access the fullness that is in Christ, we have to live in Him, which requires investing time to be intimate with Him.

Regardless of what is happening around you, God has already made provision for you, in this time, to experience the fullness that he had originally intended for your life. Because all fullness is in Christ, you do not have to search endlessly or look far to experience the fullness the scripture spoke of. What is required is an intimate relationship with Christ.  You could make the mistake of letting the lack of fullness that you are currently seeing distract you from having closeness with Him, but that would be a mistake. As long as you remain distracted by your circumstances, the fullness that you desire will always remain elusive. Refocus your attention on intimacy by taking your relationship with God to a whole new level.

Life Application: Experience the fullness of what God prepared for you by investing time to recreate intimacy with the Father.

Prayer: Lord, I want to be where you are, dwelling in your presence, feasting at your table and surrounded by your glory. Draw me close to you Lord. In Jesus name, amen.
