Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Whatever obstacles that you face on your journey can cause you to doubt whether or not what you are in pursuit of is ever going to happen. Paul addressed this in Philippians 1:6 when he said being confident of this one thing, he who has started a good work will perform it until the day of Christ. It serves as a reminder to you and that whatever good work God has started in your life, he will finish it. Your obstacles or enemies are no match for our God, so they cannot stop him from completing what he started.
History has proven that God has always finished what he has started. He did it for Abraham, whom he promised that his seed would be as the sand on the seashore. Although his wife was barren that never stopped God from finishing what he started. He did it also for David when he faced Goliath. There was no way Goliath was going to kill him when he was anointed to be the next king.
Not only has He finished what he started for others, but he has also done it for you in the past. Therefore, you can be confident in this season of your life that what God has started or whatever promises he has made he will certainly finish it.
Life Application: Live daily with the expectation that God will finish what he started.
Prayer: Lord, I trust you and remain confident that you will finish what you started. In Jesus name, amen.
