Bible Verse:

Exodus 4:31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

You do not need to wait until what God has promised comes to fruition to start worshipping. If he says it, it is already done.

The Isrealities started to worship in advance of their promised deliverance. When Moses and Aaron told the Children of Israel the word of the Lord that He had heard their cry and had come down to deliver them, Exodus 4:31 says that the people believed and bowed their heads and worshiped. They started to worship even though they had not yet seen their promised deliverance; the reason that happened was because they believed the word of God. The Children of Israel heard the word of God and believed that what God said would come to pass, so the only natural response was to bow down and worship the God who was about to do so on their behalf. Worshipping in advance is not something that you have to force; it should flow naturally if you believe what God has said.

As long as you keep believing, you will keep worshiping. When Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah heard the word of deliverance from the prophet concerning the three armies that were coming against them in 2 Chronicles 20, not only did they worship God in the moment, but they got up the next day and continued in praise and worship. That happened because they kept believing.

What has God said or promised concerning your situation? Do not let your vision be clouded by what is not going the way that you want. If you are not careful your circumstances will cause you to doubt what God has said, but it is important that you keep expecting that what God has said will come to pass. When it was announced to Pharaoh that he should let the people go, his response was to make their life more difficult and that created doubt in the minds of the Children of Israel, but in the end it was the word of the Lord that stood. Keep believing what God has said by reminding yourself daily of what God has promised

Life Application:

Stay expectant concerning what God has promised by daily reminding yourself of what He has promised and keep worshiping Him in advance.

Prayer:

Lord, you are an awesome and wonderful father. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who has already provided. You are my healer. You are a present help in the time of trouble. You are ALL I need and will ever need. I worship you for all that you have done, all that you are doing and all that you will ever do. In Jesus name, amen.
