Luke 13:12-13 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

One touch from the Lord will change your circumstances for the better. The woman who was bound with the spirit of infirmity could testify of this. According to Luke 13:11 she was bound for 18 years but when she got a touch from the Lord, all that changed.

There were 3 things that she had to do to get her touch.  The first is that she positioned herself in the presence of Jesus. At the time of the encounter Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day and the woman was there. Being in the presence of Jesus was her passport for her circumstance to change. It allowed her to get the attention of Jesus and he called her to him. The second thing that the woman did was that she had the posture of total surrender. That was evidenced by the fact that when Jesus called her to him, she willingly went to him; by doing so she was demonstrating that she was willing to let go of her ways in exchange for God’s ways.

The third thing that the woman did was to lift her faith to see herself as already loosed even though her circumstance told her that she was still bound. When the woman came to Jesus, He said to her “Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity”. Notice the “ed” in the word loosed, it indicates that Jesus was using the past tense to describe the woman’s situation even though she looked like she was already bound.  What Jesus was communicating to her was, see yourself as already loosed. It was at that point that Jesus touched her and she was immediately loosed from her infirmity.

You don’t need to wait to see the physical manifestation for the change you want to see before you start believing it is already done. Once God has spoken the word, believe that it is already done.

Life Application: To get your miracle you must lift your faith to see yourself as already healed or delivered, then you will receive a touch from the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your healing and your deliverance. You have already done it and so I position myself to receive it. In Jesus name, amen.
